Presenting Little Miss Audrey Karren Lyle!
Born Friday, June 24, 2011 at 2:38 in the morning. We were at the Redwood City Kaiser Hospital (the same hospital her brothers were born in).
Labor was short--only three hours, with a mere five minutes of pushing. She came out looking perfect with a darling round head covered in thick dark hair (sadly, already starting to thin).
We stayed in the hospital only two days and brought our lovely girl home on Sunday, June 26. Her brothers were absolutely delighted--even Tommy, who we were sure would be eaten up with jealousy.
Brady, in particular, adores her and even picked out a name for her. It came as a terrible shock for him that were not going to name our baby 'Princess Flower'. He cried and refused to call her anything else. Don't worry. Her name is still Audrey Karren Lyle, but our sons like to tell everyone we meet that her name is Audrey Karren Princess Flower Lyle.
So now Audrey is a week old and we can't imagine that we ever lived without her. What a blessing our baby girl is!
